You must register to place bids. Registration requires your full name, address, phone number and email address. This information will be used to enable you to log on www.bidbuyandsave.com.au and to contact you in case you become a winning bidder. It will also be communicated to  Bid Buy and Save and the shop or company, involved with each item. You will be assigned a unique username (alias) that allows you to place bids and follow their progress in the auction. 
NOTE! This username (alias) may result in you being identified by others. The risk for this to happen, however, is insignificant. If you do not want to be identified you should not participate in Bid Buy and Save.

When filling out the registration form, Bid Buy and Save registrants are given the opportunity to elect to receive promotional opportunities from participating vendors in Bid Buy and Save. After the auction closes, those who have opted in to this service may be sent promotional offers from participating vendors in Bid Buy and Save, or Messenger Community News.

Registrants are also requested to provide information regarding their age, gender and whether or not they are a subscriber to Messenger Community News. This optional information is aggregated and used for statistical purposes only.

When paying for a winning bid, additional information such as a credit card number may be collected from the bidder. This information is collected solely for the purposes of allowing the user to pay for the product or service on which they are the winning bidder. The credit card information is not stored in the auction system once the transaction is processed.

All information collected is for the sole use of the newspapers, participating vendors and Bid Buy and Save . This information will not be communicated to any other third parties without your written consent.

Information is also automatically collected about your browser behaviour through the use of cookies. This information is collected in aggregate form only in order for Bid Buy and Save to analyse site traffic.
